💔🌈 Dante

He was still smiling here... even though this picture was taken of him just twenty days ago. We trusted that he could still find a loving home... he was hoping too, and was cheerful and sweet as always. We didn’t know what’s coming...but Dante is gone now. His condition worsened despite the treatments, and he was operated on to find out what was causing his ailments. The operation had to be interrupted because he had a tumor in a place that cannot be touched. We took him home, we hoped in a miracle, but he left us yesterday (May 19, 2021)... to where nothing hurts anymore... Dear Dante, run, play freely now with the other dogs, you can do anything now...

💔🌈 Sinkapu

Sinkapu last night (May 30, 2021) crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He waited for us to say goodbye, then closed his tiny eyes forever. He was a good dog. Everyone at the shelter loved him. We were never able to adopt this dog, who was so nice to everyone, got along well with other dogs, and loved people, because he was one of our "black, quiet, invisible" dogs. He came to us about 10 years ago, and since then he has been waiting for the one person who will fall in love with him! I'm so sorry Sinkapu! This shouldn't have happened like this and not here... You could have had a much happier life with a real owner... Now run free! Run with Dante and the other dogs who are already looking down on us! Nothing hurts there anymore... Many thanks to Fruzsina Takács for loving and supporting his treatment as his virtual adopter! This is one of the favorite photos of him. It was taken in 2013. He was still full of hope then...

Bark Foundation Kisvárda

Unfortunately, just like in other cities in Hungary, Kisvárda also has a lot of stray, homeless dogs and cats. Our main goal is to create a well managed animal shelter, where the physical and mental rehabilitation of stray and abandoned animals can take place, until suitable new owners are found for them.
