Dorka is special for us, as she became our permanent crowd favorite always carrying her plates and feeding bowls. But from now on, she doesn't have to play with such things, she has her own ball and house, and she even naps on the bed! Yes, Dorka has been adopted and she is living next to lake Balaton. In addition to her own ball, she still carries her bowl and everything else, be it shoes, a T-shirt or the cat's bowl. And her owners love her! Maybe you remember our Christmas "compartment" babies, the 9 kids who were put out in front of our shelter like garbage.😞 The Katikas temporarily took in two of their children in their home in Venice and they have already adopted them at record speed...since then they have adopted two more babies. Look what treasures this chest has hidden! The two chocolate browns Milka and Boci are already living the life of happy owner puppies. Be very happy beauties!❤️❤️❤️

It's always a pleasure when one of our dogs finds a home and a family, but when a veteran like Kormi, who has never had a home and an owner and only knew the shelter... and his new family writes a letter like this about him, is really touches our hearts: "Kormi, now Chili, we feel has completely settled in with us. The dogs and my family completely love him. There was rivalry between the dogs at first, but now there is complete peace. Last week, he also came to a 3-day camp with us, where he was the star of the children. Everyone is surprised when they find out how old he is and that I am his first owner, because he is a real miracle dog who behaves perfectly in every situation."
Unfortunately, just like in other cities in Hungary, Kisvárda also has a lot of stray, homeless dogs and cats. Our main goal is to create a well managed animal shelter, where the physical and mental rehabilitation of stray and abandoned animals can take place, until suitable new owners are found for them.
